You welcome her into your home every night and believe me when I say she feels right at home. A daughter of Opelousas; Marcelle Fontenot has made her mark in the hearts and minds of Acadiana bringing news every night on KATC TV 3. The news business is weird and personal sometimes relationships run like contracts; up for renewal every two years. I'm lucky to have worked with her during my time as a web content producer at KATC back in 2007 and we have remained friends ever since. You would be hard-pressed to find a more giving and genuine person in any workplace in Acadiana.
