Residents in northwest LA may soon be able to enjoy the experience of Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Hotel and Casino resort. Paul Alanis  with Paradise Casino's says the company has unveiled plans to construct the 400-room casino resort just North of the Louisiana Boardwalk along the Red River. He says it's a very exciting project.  Alanis says the $170 million project would include a 1,000 seat entertainment complex, spa and outdoor tropical area visible from the Louisiana Boardwalk. He says it will be great for the local economy in the Shreveport/Bossier area.  Alanis says the gaming control board needs to approve the move of the Isle of Capri gaming license from Lake Charles to Bossier City. The casino will also need local voter approval as well.
