With three months left before the October election there is speculation that the Democrats may have a challenger to Bobby Jindal. Livonia Senator Rob Marionneaux tells LaPolitics Weekly that he's considering a possible run for governor. Political Analyst Clancy Dubos says challenging Jindal will be tough for any democrat.

Jindal reports having over 10-million dollars on hand to run his re-election campaign which make raising large amounts of money a top priority for any challenger. Dubos says its a daunting task but not impossible.

Marionneaux reports having meetings with supporters in June who were interested in finding a democratic candidate. He says there were promises of financial backing if he would consider making a run. Dubos says there is a sizable vote that Marionneaux, or any other democrat could count on.

Democrat Tara Hollis began a statewide listening tour last week.
