A maritime company announces it will move its production from China to Broussard. Maritime International President David Leblanc made the announcement alongside Governor Bobby Jindal. The move will involve an $8 million expansion that will create 90 new direct jobs and 150 indirect jobs in the region. Jindal says with the move, the state adds another win to its economic competitiveness scorecard.
