OIL CITY, La. (AP) — Oil City Mayor Charles "Chip" Dickey has been re-elected with 58 percent of the vote.

The Times reports that complete but unofficial returns give Dickey 187 votes to 136 for challenger Robert Smith.

In Rodessa, Paul Lockard got 55 percent to win a three-man race for mayor. He got 48 votes, Rick Quillen 20 and Jimmy Phillips 19.

Four people ran for three seats on the Ida Board of Aldermen, with the top three elected. With 90 percent of the vote reported, Democrat Betty "Biddie" Dial had 96 votes, Tom Tebbe 93 and Republican Joseph Gott 91. Summer Rodeheaver was a distant fourth with 31 votes.

Uncontested Caddo Parish races included a Mooringsport councilman-at-large and in Hosston and Ida, races for mayor, police chief, and three aldermen each.
