LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) — A master's degree in criminal justice offered by McNeese State University will be delivered completely online beginning in August.

Dustin Hebert, executive director of the university's Dore School of Graduate Studies and the School of Extended Education, says the program is tailored to meet the needs of working professionals.

The degree will focus on police, court and correctional administration, he says.

Applications are being accepted now and classes will begin in August. Students will complete a 36-hour master of science degree.
