Missing Church Point Carnival Worker ID’d As Body Found In Arkansas City
POCAHONTAS, Ark. (AP) — Police in Pocahontas say a body found in the city is that of a missing carnival worker.
Pocahontas Police Chief Cecil Tackett said Thursday the body was identified as that of 26-year-old Mathew St. Amant of Church Point, La.
The chief says the ArkansasState Crime Lab made the identification through fingerprints.
Jonesboro television station KAIT reports (http://is.gd/3VctGg) St. Amant was reported missing by a relative and that his fair group also hadn't seen him for a time.
The body was found in a neighborhood in Pocahontas and people living there say they didn't hear or see anything suspicious.
The investigation is continuing.
