Mitt Romney Claims Romneycare Is Based in Conservative Ideals

Mitt Romney is now claiming that his Romneycare healthcare plan in Massachusetts is based on conservative principles, in that it is a conservative idea to ask you to pay for your own healthcare rather than have the government do it.  Given that do you agree that it is a conservative idea or is the former Massachusetts Governor wrong?

Also, Newt Gingrich has missed out on being on the Virginia ballot and he has claimed that it is comparable to Pearl Harbor.  Mitt Romney has compared it to the classic "I Love Lucy" episode in the chocolate factory.
