The very latest mock draft by MLB.com for the 2105 Major League Baseball First-Year Draft has Louisiana Ragin' Cajun junior shortstop Blake Trahan being selected in the first round.

Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com has Trahan going to the Los Angeles Angels with the 26th overall selection.

Trahan is currently hitting a .345, to go along with two home runs, 25 runs batted in, and 15 stolen bases.

A native of Kinder, Trahan was a Perfect Game Second-Team All-American selection in 2013, following a 2013 season, in which he was named the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year.

Mayo also projects LSU shortstop Alex Bregman to go to the Boston Red Sox with the seventh pick.

The draft is set to begin on June 6.
