A series of shootings that occurred Monday night have led to Abbeville Police hunting for at least two suspects.

Our news partner KATC, confirmed 18-year-old Donald Briggs III of Abbeville, has turned himself in and been booked for illegal carrying of weapons and illegal use of weapons.

Wanted for the same charges is 20-year-old Kirkland Demouchet, of Abbeville.

At approximately 10 p.m. Monday, the first shooting was reported near the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Schlessinger Street. Surveillance video captured images of two men shooting at each other before one fled the scene in a blue sedan.

Nearly an hour after the first shooting, police received reports of another shooting near the 800 block of South East Street where police found numerous shell casings.
