More Drone Use Over America

The federal government says it will authorize more than 30,000 unmanned drone aircraft over the next 10 years.  Today security expert and retired FBI Special Agent Gil Torrez joined 'Mornings With Ken & Bernie' to discuss funding and use of the drones.

We asked what rules would apply to the use of drones and according to Torrez, "the way I see it, drones will just be an extension of what is out there presently.  As for as the rules, not much will change."  He went on to say, "in my assessment will be just one more tool in the arsenal of law enforcement."

Torrez said he thought costs would keep local law enforcement agencies from buying and using drones.  He continued to say the use of drones would probably be escalated in the states bordering Mexico.
