The Vermilion/Municipal Task Force recently made several drug arrests after more undercover operations in the parish.

All three people arrested are from Abbeville:

  • 32-year-old Phillip Moore III was arrested and charged with distribution of marijuana after selling the drug to an undercover agent.
  • 22-year-old Nolan Brailey was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, and possession of synthetic marijuana.
  • 35-year-old Anthony Harrison was arrested and charged with distribution of crack cocaine after selling the drug to an undercover agent.

The task force is actively searching for 34-year-old Trevis Baudoin for outstanding warrants for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and distribution of marijuana. The charges stem from a search warrant that was conducted on Baudoin’s vehicle earlier in the week.

Several larger bags of marijuana which were packaged up for street sales, were seized in the search. Baudoin is believed to be hiding in Lafayette. The task force is advising that anyone who knowing harbors Baudoin will be subsequently charged.
