GOP Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, has been requesting more information on GSA employees and the taxpayer money that about 100 at-home employees spent on things like travel expenses.  The information was reported first by The Washington Post.

In the Fox News report, "the average reimbursement was $8,000 per virtual employee, according to the Oversight committee's initial findings."

"The American people have a right to know that federal bureaucrats who enjoy the benefit of virtual work are eligible and responsible stewards of the taxpayer dollars that support the program," Issa wrote in the letter sent Friday.

Yep, that's your money and mine, and for all this time, nobody really knows where all of our tax dollars go, but every branch of government wants more, more, more!  Stop the madness.  Government wonders why people hate politicians?  It's simple, and yes, we all know it, they steal our money, there is very little oversight, and does anyone ever go to jail?  Too few.  If people started getting jailed and forced to reimburse taxpayers, things would change, but it's a disgusting pattern that will likely never change.

It makes the average working man and woman wonder what the heck is going on.  The more you work, the more they take, and take and take and take.  What travel does a virtual ( stat at home ) employee have to do?  Does it really equal up to 8-thousand bucks?  I can see working from home and having expenses, but what the heck is going on in the agency that's sole purpose is to watch that our tax money is spent efficiently?  How crazy!

All these new programs politicians want, and what we should really do as a country?  We should demand that one million employees already on the payroll be retrained to find fraud, and get people to pay it back.  Imagine if this country got rid of even 10 percent of the stealing?  Where would we be?  In a much better financial place.

Aren't you going to sleep so much better tonight knowing that the GSA is watching your back, as a taxpayer?  Yeah, that's what I thought.  Keep enjoying the nightmare.
