Morgan City Man Arrested For Attempted 2nd Degree Murder

St. Mary Parish Sheriff's deputies aren't releasing many details at this time, but they do report that Tuesday morning they arrested 30-year-old Donald R. Brown of 409 5th Street in Morgan City on charges of attempted 2nd degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and violation of a firearm free zone.

Franklin Police, Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division and deputy with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Warrants Division teamed up to locate Brown.

Brown was found at a home on Chatsworth Road in Franklin.

He was taken to the parish jail for booking and incarceration.
