Morgan City Man Arrested In Alleged Attempted Murder

23-year-old Jamarcus Clark of Morgan City has been accused of trying to shoot a man during a December 1st armed robbery.

According to our news partners at KATC, police say Clark is responsible for the shooting, which officers say was drug-related. Not only is Clark charged with attempted murder, but he is also charged with attempted armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Clark now sits in the Franklin jail. Police continue to investigate.
