Morgan City Man Arrested In Traffic Stop

A man with a long rap sheet gets caught in a traffic stop.

John Sonnier with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office says a deputy was patrolling the Amelia area Friday night when he noticed a vehicle with an improperly displayed license. Kentrell Davis of Morgan City was a passenger inside. Police say Davis was wanted for not appearing for Criminal Neglect of Family, Failing to Comply with Drug Court and four warrants for Cocaine Distribution charges.

He's been booked into the parish jail on a near $735,000 bond.
