Morgan City Prepares For High Water [Audio]

Morgan City residents and business owners are preparing for high water because of the Army Corp of Engineers prediction of the Atchafalaya River rising nine and a half feet.  Officials will begin closing flood gates this weekend.  Morgan City Mayor Tim Matte says the rising river will cause the entire waterfront to flood.  Making matters worse, if the Morganza flood-way is opened to relieve pressure it will cause more rising water problems for Morgan City.  KPEL's Suzanne Ferrara got details on flood preparations and what residents can expect from Mayor Matte.
