Morrow Man Allegedly Rapes 17-year-Old Girl

42-year-old Richard Young of Morrow is behind bars accused of raping a 17-year-old girl.

Young is accused of taking the victim to an abandoned house and allegedly committing the act there. Major Eddie Thibodeaux with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office says they've been investigating the case since early February and arrested Young after results came back from the crime lab.

Young has been charged with First Degree Rape and sits in the St. Landry Parish Jail.
