Morrow Man Arrested On Child Sex Charges

22-year-old Javin Mason of Self Help Road in Morrow is accused of knowingly having sex with an underage girl.

Captain Megan Vizena with the St. Landry Sheriff's Office says Mason allegedly had a sexual relationship with the 14-year-old "even though he knew she was underage."

Mason has been booked into the parish jail facing 2 counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
