My Co-Worker Calls A Coincidence A ‘God Wink’

I have a co-worker who calls coincidences a "God Wink", and this coincidence warmed my heart!

While traveling on vacation, I stopped at an airport restaurant to grab a very expensive breakfast. There were at least 30 customers at the counter, and the employees were calling out first names when orders were ready. While I was waiting in line to order, I heard the name "John" called out at least 3 times (among all the others, of course!), so I thought to myself "give the cashier your middle name so that you don't get mixed up with the other Johns".

When I got to the counter to place my order, the cashier asked for my name. Not wanting to get the wrong John's order, I told her my middle name, thinking that not many people in the line would be named "Clifford"!

I placed my order and as I waited in line, I glanced at my receipt.

Why is this a coincidence/God wink? Well, you can see that I've outlined my (middle) name, Clifford. The other name outlined? Well, that's the cashier's name. It also happens to be my mom's name.

Yes, it put a smile on my face for the rest of the day!
