Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin and two former Jefferson Parish officials are facing state ethics charges.  The three charges lodged against Nagin are related to an ongoing federal investigation involving a former technology chief and a city vendor.  Meantime, former Jefferson Parish president Aaron Broussard and long-time aide Tim Whitmer are accused of numerous ethics violations linked to an insurance company owned by Whitmer, while some of the charges against Broussard are related to his acceptance of Christmas gifts from staff members.
