Narcotics Agents And Probation Officials Team Up For Bust

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Narcotics Department joined up with Probation and Parole officials to conduct a joint operation at 6744 Highway 182 in Franklin.

Narcotics agents say 30-year-old Jermaine Spain had synthetic cannabinoids in violation of his probation.  Officers say while booking Spain into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center they found out he had Xanax on him.

Spain is facing charges from the Probation and Parole Department.
