The couple who live at 207 Pavy Road in Opelousas have been arrested for allegedly selling drugs.

Terrance and Jasmine Hatfield were both arrested following a raid of their home last week according to St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office Spokesman Major Eddie Thibodaux.

Because Terrance Hatfiled is a felon, it is not lawful for him to have a firearm, but narcotics agents found an American Tactical AR pistol with a drum magazine that carried 70 rounds in it.

Agents collected powder cocaine, crack, about $25,000 and some prescription medication that was not labelled.

Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says narcotics agents are no stranger to this home,

"This is the second time this year our agents searched this home. With these arrests, we were able to stop these drugs from hitting our streets. Anyone with drug information can always contact St. Landry Crime Stoppers at 337-948-8477 (TIPS) or download the P3 app on your mobile device to submit your anonymous tips. You could earn up to a $1,000 cash reward."
