National Organization Honors UL Lafayette Nursing Professor

University of Louisiana at Lafayette nursing program administrator Denise Linton, Ph.D, has been chosen as a standout by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Linton is one of only 12 nurse practitioners chosen from across the country to participate in the AANP's year-long Leadership Program.

Those selected for the program are serving in clinical, administrative or educational roles. and have demonstrated the potential to assume roles of increasing national leadership within the organization and throughout the nation.

Linton, an associate professor in UL Lafayette’s College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions, has focused research studies in cervical cancer prevention.
