Lafayette Regional Airport's New Fly Lafayette Club is getting some national recognition. USA Today included the program in a news story in Tuesday's Money section, while the Airports Council International will feature the program in an upcoming issue of its Centerlines magazine. Both articles examined airport rewards programs and highlighted ones that were successful. The new and enhanced version of the Fly Lafayette Club debuted in March of this year, and since then it's grown significantly. The program has gone from just over 160 existing members to nearly 2,500. The program is free. Joining the club allows members to enter drawings for prizes from local businesses and free Fly Lafayette Club-branded merchandise from the club each time they fly.
