National Weather Service Issues Heat Advisory For Louisiana This Weekend

Get ready for another hot one today.

A heat advisory has been issued for much of the state as high temperatures  are  once again expected to  exceed  100-degrees  in  north  and  central  Louisiana.   South Louisiana will see high temperatures in the upper 90s. Only a slight chance of rain.  Drought  conditions  in  northwest  Louisiana  have  prompted  state officials  to  declare a ground water emergency in parts of southern Caddo Parish. Residents in that area should conserve drinking water.
