New App Freezes Kid’s Phones Until Parent’s Text Is Answered

A dad frustrated with his kids ignoring his texts created a new app that rectified the situation.

The app is called ReplyASAP. When a parent calls or texts, it freezes the phone, and sounds an alarm, even if the phone is on silent. The alarm won't stop until the call or text is acknowledged.

The message will appear over whatever screen is open on the phone. The parent even gets a text that shows that the text has been read.

You can even send a message right then, or set a time for a future message.

At this time, it's only available via Android, but an iOS version is in the works.
