BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Louisiana gambling regulators have given Pinnacle Entertainment another month to wrap up construction of its $368 million Baton Rouge casino and hotel.

Anthony Sanfilippo, president and CEO of Pinnacle, said Thursday that L'Auberge Baton Rouge will open by Labor Day, Sept. 3.

The Gaming Control Board unanimously agreed to adjust the deadline for completion from July 31 to Aug. 31.

Sanfilippo says Pinnacle will go before the board next month with a definite opening date.
