145 projects totaling $50 billion over 50 years to restore the coast. This is the financial credentials of the new Coastal Master Plan.

The plan, put on by the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana, is outlined in a pamphlet online that shows every aspect of the plan and it's purpose. The main plan objectives are; flood protection, natural processes, coastal habitats, cultural heritage, and having a working coast.
