New Iberia Armed Robber Being Sought

Tuesday evening deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office were called out to the corner of Breaux Alley and LaSalle Street in response to a report of an armed robbery. The victim says she was walking down the street with her two children when she was approached by a black man wearing a mask and holding a handgun. The suspect demanded money and ran from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Detectives are asking for anyone with information about the robbery to call the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office at 337-369-3711.
