Alleged New Iberia Cemetary Vandals Arrested

Iberia Parish sheriff’s detectives have arrested two suspects believed to be involved in the desecration of graves at a cemetery.
Sheriff Louis Ackal says 20-year-old William Andras and a 16-year-old, both from New Iberia, were arrested for alleged vandalizing graves at Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Ackal say the vandalism was reported to deputies approximately one month ago.
Both suspects were booked with desecration of graves and trespassing.
