New Iberia Home Invasion Arrest

According to Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal deputies responded to a call of a home invasion at approximately 6:00am today in the 1000 block of Hopkins Street. The victim told deputies a man broke into her home and attacked her. The victim sustained moderate injuries and was able to identify her attacker. Shortly after identifying 43 year old John Cyrio Jr. he was arrested at a home on LaSalle Street. Cyrio was booked on charges of home invasion and simple criminal damage to property.
