NEW IBERIA, La. (KPEL) -- State Police have arrested a New Iberia man for allegedly creating child pornography.

According to State Police Trpr. Stephen Hammons, investigators were tipped Monday morning that 32-year-old Austin Gulledge was in possession of child porn.

"With the information, detectives received a search warrant was obtained for Gulledge's residence," Hammons said. "With the assistance of the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office and the FBI, detectives served the warrant yesterday afternoon..."

Police found a number of different storage devices that contained more than 200 child porn images, as well as more than 20 videos, Hammons said. It was also determined that Gulledge was allegedly producing child porn, Hammons said.

Gulledge was taken into custody and booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on charges of possession of child pornography, manufacturing child pornography, and distribution of child pornography.

The case remains under investigation.
