New Iberia Man Robbed While Walking Down Dark Alley

The Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal says that his deputies are trying find the four suspects responsible for robbing a man as he was walking down the 400 block of Dark Alley Street in New Iberia.

The victim told deputies that he was walking in that area when he was approached by four guys in their late teens or early twenties.  The 49-year-old victim says the four black males demanded his money, and he says at first he refused.

After the men started hitting him with a stick, he gave up the money.  He says eventually he was able to run away from the them.  They only other description he could to the deputies was that each of the men had dreadlocks.
