New Iberia Police Search For Kidnapping Suspect

The search is on for Lee Fowler following his arrest by the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office on charges that include second-degree kidnapping and simple escape. 

He's accused of holding a female in his vehicle until she managed to flee to a nearby home.  Fowler fled the area, but was arrested a short time later on Hwy 90.  He managed to flee from the New Iberia sheriff's office patrol center while undergoing questioning last night.
