New Iberia Woman Shot To Death This Morning

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office says a woman was shot and killed in New Iberia.

Deputies says the woman was discovered lying on the street with two gun shot wounds.  They were called out near the corner of Corrine and Field Streets around 2:45 a.m.

Our news partners KATC report that the woman has been identified as 41-year-old Jenny Washington.
