New Left Turn Lane Completed

As of 4:00 Wednesday afternoon, drivers can no longer turn left from Guilbeau onto Johnston. You'll have to use the new left turn lane at Friar Lane. Friar Lane takes you to Johnston where a new traffic signal has been installed. Traffic will enter the left turn lane approximately 200' from Johnston Street where a new traffic signal has been installed at the intersection with Friar Lane. Signing is provided directing left-turning vehicles to the proper lane. Traffic then proceeds on Friar Lane, which will be converted to a one-way street segment for apporoximately 300' to turn left onto Johnston Street. Traffic in the right lane on Friar Lane will also be permitted to continue straight onto Rena Drive from this new route.
