New Orleans hotels are already booking up for possible bowl game appearances by the Ragin' Cajuns and the LSU Tigers.

UL is expected to play in the New Orleans Bowl, while LSU is in the driver's seat for the BCS Championship game, which will be played in the Superdome. N.O. Hotel & Lodging Association president Martin Driskell says rooms are going fast.

The Cajuns would be making their first bowl appearance since 1970. Driskell says the Inter-Continental, where he works, is already booked up. He says LSU fans are not as quick to book for a possible BCS Championship appearance though.

Driskell says December and January will be big for New Orleans' hotel and tourism trade. He says the Saints play on New Year's Eve, then the Sugar Bowl is January 2nd, followed by the BCS title game a week later.
