Police have arrested Ryan Poree for the shooting deaths of two sisters and the wounding of a 7-year-old boy in east New Orleans on Friday.

John Gagliano, chief investigator for the coroner, tells the Times-Picayune that the victims were 34-year-old Alcee Perry and her sister, 32-year-old Kimberly Perry. He says both died from multiple gunshot wounds. The 7-year-old son of Kimberly Perry was also shot in the abdomen and leg, and remains in critical condition at a local hospital.

Police Officer Shereese Harper says Poree has been charged for two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder.

Harper says the shooting apparently stemmed from “an ongoing feud between the victims and the suspect.” They all lived in the same block.
