New Orleans Murder Suspect Nabbed In Lafayette

The Lafayette City Marshal's office was informed that a New Orleans murder suspect was hiding out at a home in the 100 Block of Arizona Street. While observing the house deputies noticed two people exit and drive off. After a short chase their vehicle stopped and deputies questioned and arrested Leroy Price of New Orleans. Price's rap sheet includes drug violations, felon in possession of a firearm and a second degree murder charge from 2011. The current murder charge stems from a death that occurred on January 13 of this year. Price was booked into the Lafayette Correctional Center.
