New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees “Pretty Confident” He Will Play On Sunday

Will he or won't he play on Sunday?

That is the question on the minds of Saints fans, as well as NFL fans and media across the country.

"I have every intention of playing, but I do have to take it day to day, and I have to be smart with this," says Brees. "So that's what I'm doing," said Brees."

In this video, Brees goes on to point out that while he didn't do any throwing today (Wednesday), he is doing other exercises to make sure his arm is ready to throw for Sunday's divisional game against Carolina.

While Brees says he believes it will be his decision whether he plays or not, Head Coach Sean Payton has expressed confidence in the training staff, as well as Luke McCown, Drew's backup.
