New UL Band Uniform Chosen

After the public got to vote, there is now a new desgin for UL's "Pride of Acadiana Marching Band".

After all the voting, a new design has been chosen for UL Lafayette's band.  This coming football season the band will now have a brand new look to share with fans and spectators.

The "Pride of Acadiana Marching Band" director Brian Taylor says that hats and color guard uniforms will be designed now to match the new band uniforms.  He was quoted in a press release today as saying,  "Now, we start on those designs and customize the band uniform".

For those of you who have been voting, watching and waiting for the new design to come out, you are either really happy or a little disappointed today.  If you picked the one that most other folks picked then you are probably very obviously pleased with the new design.  After weeks of voting, the competition to pick the new uniform ended yesterday.
