New York Representative King Tests Presidential Waters In New Hampshire
WAKEFIELD, N.H. (AP) — New York Republican Congressman Peter King is testing the waters for a possible future presidential bid.
The 11-term congressman is in New Hampshire today and tomorrow. King says, "I believe the Republican Party would be receptive to my candidacy."
King, who's 69, talks openly about a presidential bid when asked, but he hasn't yet conducted any polling or taken steps usually taken by serious contenders.
