Newstalk 96.5 KPEL Offered Ron Richard Interview, Not Equal Time

Lafayette, LA – November 1, 2012 –NewsTalk 96.5 KPEL would like to clarify, for the record, that Ron Richard, Democratic Candidate for Congress, was offered a block of interview time on our morning show.  Richard came out with a release saying that KPEL offered “equal time” and that was not the case.  Richard was offered an interview as a public service and was not offered that to correct any error that had taken place, as Richard had no right to participate in the recent debate on KPEL and has no right to airtime now.
