“Niki Bird” Says Her Training Seminar Deal Cancelled Because She’s Running For Governor

A candidate for governor alleges the Jindal administration cancelled a training seminar deal with her non-profit advocates group because of her involvement.

"Niki Bird" Papazoglakis  (Papa-zog-lay-kiss), policy director for Promoting Awareness & Violence empowerment, says the cancellation of a $5000 speaking contract with DCFS for the training seminar came shortly after she entered the race against Governor Jindal. Trey Williams, with the Dept. of Children & Family Services, says the decision was solely about budget and lack of credentials.
