The streets and highways will be filled with millions of dreamers heading to work this morning. Those dreamers did not have their dreams of Powerball riches come true last night. There was no big winner of over $500 million dollars in Wednesday night's drawing. That's the bad news. The good news is that we will get to do it all over again this Saturday night when the Powerball jackpot is expected to be at least $675 million dollars with a lump sum payout forecast to be $413.1 million.

The winning numbers as drawn last night during the Powerball telecast were:

2-11-47-62-63 and the Powerball was 17

While no one matched all five numbers for the Powerball  jackpot payout, there were still some winners from last night's drawing. There was a match five winner with Power Play ticket that was sold in New Mexico. That is worth $2 million dollars.

There were also a dozen $1 million dollar tickets sold for matching five numbers. One of those million dollar tickets was sold in Louisiana, another was sold in Texas. The Louisiana million dollar winner was purchased in New Iberia. There were also two $50-thousand dollar winning tickets sold in the state. One was purchased in Breaux Bridge and the other in Henderson.

So be sure to double check your ticket to see if you cashed in on one of the million dollars prizes. Of course there are other ways to claim cash paying Powerball.

By Saturday you can expect the entire nation to be in a lottery frenzy and with that kind of money on the line you can expect ticket sales to be brisk beginning today. Lottery officials remind you to play responsibly. They also suggest if you're going to be playing in a group or pool that you document who is paying for what and who will be included in any payoffs should the group claim the top prize on Saturday.
