No Tax Ordinance

Lafayette Councilmen William Theriot and Jarred Bellard's no tax district proposal has been put off for a vote, for now.
After lengthy discussion and concerns voiced surrounding the proposal which would close the loophole that allows the council to vote on taxing districts the ordinance was deferred. Councilman Theriot says he wants to tweak the proposal before it's voted on.
