A North Carolina teenager is in hot water over a photo she posted to her Facebook page.

According to investigators, 17-year-old Amber Beaver posted a photo of four firearms laid out on a table with the caption "school finna be lit."

Deputies describe the weapons as a small pistol, a shotgun, a bolt action rifle, and a semi-automatic rifle. Authorities began investigating after several students and teachers made the East Rowan High School Resourse Officer, Scott Flowers, aware of the photo over the weekend.

When investigators went to Beaver's home, her father said he had not seen her for a week and that he believed she was staying with another relative.

Beaver was tracked down later at a home in Spencer.

Amber told investigators that it was just a joke and that she thought the post was funny

The only problem was no one was laughing, and Amber was arrested for communicating threats and making a false reports of mass violence on an educational property.

She is currently being held on a $7,500 secured bond—which is not lit.
