PARAMUS, N.J. (AP) — Workers are returning to New Jersey's largest shopping mall today - two days after a man fired shots inside and then killed himself.

The Garden State Plaza in Paramus (puh-RAM'-uhs) was closed after Monday night's shooting, and remained closed Tuesday as investigators did a thorough search of the property.

Retailers and their employees will get their stores ready for customers, who can enter at 10 o'clock this morning.

Authorities say 20-year-old Richard Shoop of Teaneck, N.J. killed himself with the same weapon he used at the mall and had left a note with his family suggesting he would harm himself. More than 200 people held a vigil for the gunman last night.
