Northside High School Put On Brief Lockdown During Routine Drill

No drugs or weapons were found on the Northside High School campus Thursday morning after a security drill put the school on lockdown for a short time.

According to our news partners at KATC, there were no safety threats on campus. Lafayette Police and the Lafayette Parish School Board say the event was a routine drill and that all students and faculty are safe.
